Pregnancy yoga

Brand new online pregnancy yoga course

Because of coronavirus, I’m not able to offer in-person pregnancy yoga at the moment. I’m offering a 6 week pregnancy yoga online course, starting 13th May, which will give you all the fundamentals of pregnancy yoga, and resources for you to practice at home.

For more info, go here.

Pregnancy yoga is an amazing way to keep your body and mind healthy in pregnancy and beyond.

Pregnancy is a time of huge change and yoga can be a brilliant support for you during this time. I offer pregnancy and postnatal classes and one to one sessions in the comfort of your own home.

My training is accredited by Yoga Alliance, the international body for yoga teachers. I trained with Yoga Quota in Oxford, an organisation that is committed to providing training in safe, evidence-based and accessible yoga.

When you sign up to any of my sessions I’ll ask you to complete a short questionnaire so that I know about any injuries or issues you’ve faced and make class suitable for you.

In-person class schedule (not currently running)

  • Thursdays 6.15-7.30pm, Pregnancy yoga at Foxfield Pavilion, Grange Park NN4 5BE

Pregnancy yoga

In my classes I’ll help you connect to your body and your baby, learn breathing techniques which can help you during birth, and relax with guided meditations. The postures and exercises that you will learn will support you in pregnancy and beyond. My classes are evidence-based and include lots of modifications to support your body as it changes.

I’ve written a bit more about the specific things that yoga in pregnancy can do for you and what the evidence says on my blog.

If you have any questions about practicing yoga during your pregnancy or about coming to classes, just get in touch.
